Or everything that happened in the book is due to the temple’s influence from the death of the father to the meeting between abbel and the girl?! Idk everything is looking mighty sus right now
Maybe they knew she could actually be a 'saintess' due to her enormous quantity of mana? And knowing her background (not too powerful family) they had to block her powers so to choose themselves the next 'saintess'(??)(could it be?) ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

i read this in a spoiler before but she is the reincarnation of a human cursed to kill their child. once she regains her memories of the cursed person she will kill her child (in this case abel). so my guess is that the temple knows this and was surprising her to lower the chances of her regaining her memories... take this with a grain of salt though

i’m a bit hazy on the details but basically there were 3 people who were cursed (by god?) and the second person was cursed to kill their child... this was their punishment for doing something wrong and those 3 people continually reincarnated and once they regain their memories they fulfill the prophecy so once mc regains her memories (not of her korean life but of her cursed life) she will have no choice but to kill abel since it was the punishment given to her of course i’m sure there will be some plot to save her and abel but this is the story till now
