Totally agree with you. The most stupid and pathetic FL ever! She got the will to TRY only after she told ML she STILL REALLY LIKES HIM. Really? So stupid, silly and unrealistic! I mean what if he was still a jerk after the marriage and didn't treat her right? Then she'd have gone on being a silly uneducated potato all her life! WOW!
Ok about dyslexia as another commentor said: she is not incompetent!! Also smartphones have configuration for people with impairments, images and numbers (which are basically images with meaning)they can still call or memorize numbers!!
Also the father doesn't seem to have any idea of her impairment, which then I beg to ask... HOW negligent are you regarding your children's education?!? You are rich! Tutors speciallized in severe dyslexia exist!! Or hire a trusted secretary for her!! And you dare to bring it up? Gods I hate clueless parents, specially if they have more faith in the tabloid than their own children!!!
Just saying, FL is a Brat... a suffering child... but still a brat, i know it's sereve and our able-ism society doesn't help but don't be helpless and don't ever give up, which is why I say... this FL is the weakest I saw in Harlequin, (yes... not the dumb and forgiving single mothers but the dyslexic rich girl is the weakest person in all Harlequin) she JUST. GAVE. UP. on learning and trying!!
The ML is tolerable, but he has the dept of a single layer cardboard. Still good that he was willing to help her and talk... he was reasonable for a Harlequin ML
