Where it comes from? Even the author already said they'll be happy.

I'm curious to understand from where some readers get the idea or hint that this story will end up as tragedy or anything even similar to a Killing Stalking?
The only think Killing Stalking and POTN have in common is that they became too popular and hyped because of the art and attracted readers who don't necessarily enjoyed the story or the genre but hang around because everyone else was talking about or reading it.
Killing Stalking was psychological horror, gory and the MCs became more unhinged and damaged as the story progressed, not the other way around. The author hardly promoted any happy ending in her official art. The extra art usually depicted the dark dynamic.
POTN is no psychological horror, not gory. Also, among the non con group of fiction that we all know it belongs to, it's not even one of the darkest ones in here (Although sometimes there is the impression that for some readers this is their first non con trope where MCs end together).
Besides that, the more the story progresses the clearer it becomes the trope is following the traditional path of a relationship for the MCs becoming stronger, not weaker. A redemption for Seungho along with Nakyum falling in love with him. Better deal with it.
Biggest hints that this is not ending in tragedy: What the author says and what the author promotes as part of strategy of keeping readers following the story.
Maybe this is not known to readers who don't follow the author's but she already said in a Q&A that Nakyum and Seungho would be happy (their own way) Unless one talks in philosophical terms where tragedy means happiness, I don't think she meant any of them will have a horrible or even sad ending.
As for how they will be happy, for anyone following the official art, the depiction of the shipping and the couple has become closer, happier, not the other way around. If before there was more of a lust and domination, now they are depicted in tender moments, smiling, enjoying each other beyond the sex. The author is the biggest shipper of the couple and the official art that is being released is like a parallel story of its own. A story where the author is trying to keep the faith and teasing the readers that if they stick around for the tough part, they will be rewarded with that couple they see in the official arts.

You spitting straight facts here. A lot of people only read PON or KS because it somewhat got popular on tiktok and they are just here because of the trend and hype of Yaoi and BL. They seem to not understand the genre and plot that comes with it. They immediately jump the author when they see something that doesn't suit their taste or read something that is too much for their liking. Inexperienced readers can be a pain in the ass sometimes because they assume too much and rant when they feel like it.

honestly lol, they don't even have a similarity yet people still compares them. Like bruh can you not see the genre? if it says psychological then expect the story to be dark, if it doesn't, it's not. And It's getting hella annoying when people on tikt0k asks you "why do you like this manhwa it's literally just rape" while they be shipping Sangwoo and Yoonbum. Mkay shawty
