What he was saying was that he loves his wife so much he was egoistic and didn't care his brother had feelings for her. But it's not like yuu was dating that girl or anything nor was there ever a hint of anything. So there was nothing there to "steal" (not like a person can be stolen wtf)
what op meant by "stole" was probably cuz of what the older bro said. he literally knew yuu had feelings for his tutor and yet he went on and even told yuu about his plan while knowing fully well that yuu liked her? and then proudly told asahi about it? lol what's up with that. and another thing to point out is older bro also knew asahi liked him and yet he told asahi about his plan of proposing to the girl? idk but he's kinda a jerk
He told his brother he was getting married so that makes him an asshole? He knew Asahi had feelings yes, but Asahi did make the decision of staying as friends knowing what it would entail. His brother decided to go after his wife despite Yuu. This was to show you the depth of each character's feelings. Yuu never confessed nor fought for his SIL. But he was ready to fight for Asahi. That doesn't make the brother an asshole for going for what he wanted. And it doesn't make him an asshole to tell who he considers a friend about it.
so if you liked someone and say your best friend knew, then said actually we are dating you wouldn’t be pissed or angry. sure they’re going after they want but he didn’t take into account how his brother would feel. he said screw family and put their relationship on the line for a woman all because he wanted her. he didn’t care about the brother in the aftermath of it. he’s selfish and rude and if i had a brother like that i’d be furious
Honestly I don't know. I mean, if I think it I would say I couldn't be angry because I didn't lift a finger for the other person and the other person made their choice and they didn't chose me. But I was never in that situation so I'm guessing and that's where my comment comes from. But as I said it's a guess and maybe I'd react differently ╮(￣▽￣)╭
