Not to be rude or anything but they may not be related by blood but 7 years as SIBLINGS and she is ADOPTED. If she’s adopted then she’s part of the family as a daughter and sister!!

I totally understand!! I’m sorry. I just saw it as how she is originally trying to avoid her fate & trying to help him not have a sad ending. Meaning that she doesn’t necessarily see him as a brother, but more as a friend ??? If that makes sense, but I do get what you are trying to say. That if they spent all those year together they are siblings
