i remember this from years ago... it was one of my favorite manga. i wish stories like that had their own genre, one fleeting summer, the smell of salty ocean, the heat making one sweat and the sounds of cicadas. i love stories like that! plus it’s setting is like in the 90?? please read the authors afternote. this story actually deepens the worries, guilt and taboo of two brothers having more than brotherly affection in a very beautiful way. it’s the little things, the letters, the beans, the laundry, sensei has created such a a beautiful atmosphere in a mess of emotions which I found myself getting lost in ... I will miss the experience of reading this! I love characters like minoru, the big doting brother who is, well, an adult, mature. And yukata is the opposite, a child and innocent. Their relationship is very unique!
I wonder how these two will live in the future. I hope they are happy TT
