If you mean the breed Obviously they are rats, but in my country we call all of them mouse whether they are small or big. I live in the countryside near a river and there are many of them especially big "rats"
So u have never seen a rat bigger than a cat.... Lemme tel ya my cat was scared shitless when he encountered one

It doesn't matter in what country one lives, there are mouse "rats" big everywhere especially in big city or in the countryside near the river and lake, (especially rats of river they're pretty big) . If you google it you can see that they exist and they are on the rise too because they adapt and they keep on resisting to the deratization. Well if you've never seen one before you're very lucky.
I just want to know where they live cause i don't ever want to encounter a rat as big as a cat the largest I've ever seen a rat was about the size of my shoes which are a 10 in women's. They were San Francisco city rats and they are not afraid of people.
I now live in Holland but I know people who have seen them in England , France , Italy, Sweden, Thailand, Spain, Russia and America. They're everywhere and when I was searching for a means to get rid of them, I chatted with people who had the same problem as mine thinking I was the only one who had seen a rat so big but we exchanged pictures and you know what mine was little in comparison of some of them (￣∇￣")
I know there is this breed of rodent called Nutria (also called Coypu) in Louisiana that has a bounty on it. You get paid $6 for each one you kill, you can keep the fur and meat. they can get up to 6.5kg (or in US terms 14lbs).
No they aren't nutria, I know them and I see them in the river, what I have seen is a real rat I can distinguish between them because I see them often. But they eat them?! Ew this is very disgusting Σ( ￣□￣||)
They eat anything in the south, it's gross. The most bizarre I've eaten is alligator meat lol
Well if all the mouse were so fluffy and cute I wouldn't mind if they lived in my garden, but all the mouse that I've seen so far are bigger than my cat who runs away as soon as he sees them (￣∇￣")
