Well... To all the people who are saying that being betrayed by a guy isn't a reason to treat your child like she did, I totally agree, but at the same time I think I can understand why she was acting like that...
She must have been dealing with a lot of guilt and was probably thinking that she wasn't good enough, and I think that she did act that way toward Kyoko because this child was representing all her mistakes and insecurities, for exemple she was often mad at Kyoko because her grades weren't good enough... I think she could'nt help it, beside it IS really hard to look up for a child and to love her when you're alone and didn't want to have a baby to begin with... The fact that she left Kyoko with Sho's parents must have been because she didn't want to hurt her anymore...
Well at least that what I like to think... Her attitude was still horrible but I wouldn't juge her to harshly...
