I'm not 100% sure but I have a theory that he is gay or bisexual but refuses to believe it because his mother taught him that being gay is a sin and disgusting after his father left her for another man. I'm not making excuses for him, he's still a piece of crap but I do feel bad for him. He probably did have feelings for Sooin and was disgusted by them, he can still go die though.
