I’m french so I’ve got the Celsius part, and I know that anything over 37,5 is a fever, but you don’t go fainting and panting at 38,2, or maybe it’s just that I’m built different but it never seemed to me that a 38,2 fever was so harsh
like ofc you’re not feeling well and generally you’re hurting somewhere so it’s no like you’re having a good day. but by saying the characters I should’ve said characters in mangas, bc fever is a recurrent theme (especially in shoujos), and they are always like hallucinating, they can’t move out of their bed for an entire day, even though it seems that their fever are not that high.

I've thought about this aswell, but the older you get the more sensitive you qre to fever. My normal temperature is 36.4, if I would have 38 I would be so sick. I haven't had a fever for 7 years so I don't know. I feel like shit when I have 37.5
The body’s temperature should be 37,1 and anything over 38 is considered a fever, but yes I agree with you, he probably wouldn’t be THIS weak based on his temperature
It depends to be honest: each Person is different especially depending on your age and current health. Me for example I had a 102 temp with bronchitis and only felt cold/shivers. I wasn’t like light headed or tired or anything I recall so
