I remember a Yaoi manga a read once that was kinda historical but don’t remember the name, and it was still ongoing. It was about a crown prince and a general (?) from the enemy country who fell in love with each other. But when the prince found out his identity, he didn’t want to meet him anymore, and something happened that made him hate the crown prince. A few years later, they met each other while the general destroyed the crown princes country, and wanted to keep him as a slave. But he was still in love with the crown prince. The prince however cared for his people more, and did everything in his power to keep them alive. While the general wanted him to forget everything/everyone and be his.
