The Duke had good intentions but the way he handled it could have been better. I appreciate that he wanted to have her live the life she wanted and in the way she wanted but it would have been better to communicate that to her than to just leave her be. It made it seem like he didn’t care about her no matter what she did. I’m glad she knows now. The relationship may be a bit awkward for a bit but I hope that they grow just a little bit closer from now on.
