On e-ranta? I tried finding English paperback official copies to buy but could only find french ones (I am a francophone, mind you....but french translations are so cringy... So much cringe... I can't) I guess I'll go look for a digital version of e-ranta! Thanks!
I agree I can read french as well but it feels so cringe to read in french
I mean, I am a Quebecoise. So for a moment, I was wondering if I was just biased because I just couldn't deal with the France-French expressions, idioms, and the like but ... I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't the only native speaker that couldn't handle French translations.
When a sfx in the background in english is *sob* whilst in the french one is *ouuuiiiinnnnnnnn* ... Cultural differences aside... No one can take this seriously. Those who can must be superhumans or not know any other language.
Unless a piece of media is originally in French, I usually only turn towards the English translations because of that very reason.
Someone, please pick this up! The art is gorgeous and it's such a shame to not be able to indulge in it more!
