Honestly it’s only been a couple of chapter since mildred really showed some sort of "favoritism" towards ashley. Ashley has been feeling left out, they’re not even her real family and it’s understandable that she wants her to feel comfortable, add to that the cinderella plot. Moreover, it will be better for her daughters if ashley marry the prince so ofc she will do what it takes. I don’t think she is neglecting her other daughters, its just the attention ashely needs rn to feel good. When she will know ashley is alright she can go back to treating them all equally.
