Are you serious? "Situations that we put ourselves into" how did Kadokura put himself in this situation? He didn't pick his father?! And this is how that horrible excuse of a parent raised him. This is gaslighting all over!
I think this manga's story can relate to almost anyone. We all tend to blame others for situations that we put ourselves into and undermine the good things we have. Love all the characters. Even the clumsy dad.
