I’m in a LTDR going strong towards 2 years together.. The year we’ve passed it almost completely separated by covid restrictions and we’ve only seen each other 3 or 4 times or so. Every time I’m at her place she wakes me up before going out to work to say bye and ask me if I’d slept well, and leaves a cup of coffee downstairs in the kitchen for me. So just seeing her wake up and smile so brightly when she said “Yeah!” just really made me all happy and fuzzy inside and at the same time terribly sad and lonely.
