Yep, but also I think they were old enough to know how you treat an other person. It's not like they didn't realise it was slavework or was under the impression he was hired.
I wonder if it is legal to test you child like that in Japan. Most countries I know of, that would have been labelled as childabuse.
I blame the father more than the athlete kids. The father told them that his son would take care of them. He didn't ask the son to help out or anything. Just demanded it. The athlete kids treated him like a maid because his own father said that they could. Yeah, I agree that they should have asked politely. But still, his father was to blame at most.
