So I'm on chapter like 4 rn and i really hate the dad? Like his excuse for hating her is that he never asked for her to be born but neither did she sooooooo ????? His overall attitude is just super bad and it would've been better for him to leave her with her adopted fam since she was already happy with them （￣へ￣）
Update: i ended up reading straight through but what happened to joel (? Forgot if that's his name) like she leaves cause she was accused of murder and stabbed and that's that? Like I'm also kinda confused as to if she in a different country now.
Overall i guess it's not bad, like i enjoyed reading so that's something. It just kinda feels abrupt or unresolved at times
