They would probably send him to Jail right after they got their revenge.. in my perspective he deserves it, why? Cause I love my Grandad so much and I have a soft spot for all the elders and that bitch did what??? Broke a vase in his grandfather's head and killed him then forcing the blame on Ci Nian, also stole his boyfriend AND THEN planned to kill him that even Wowo, an innocent kid got dragged into the accident that almost killed him. That bitch didn't even regretted what he's done and continued to do bad things.
I respect your opinion, but in my point of view, he desrves every bit of what Cheng did to him. Those weren't even half of the suffering Ci Nian and Wowo experienced, both have been scarred and wounded for the rest of their lives and those invicible wounds won't ever heal.

He killed his grandfather, framed Cu Nian and “killed” him, tried to kill Wo Wo and Cu Nian’s friend and is plotting to kill his father and you want ‘justice’ for him? He’s probably gonna get out of jail a few years later so what’s the point? Cheng is doing the right thing for getting revenge for Cu Nian. I’m pretty sure you would do the same if this happened to you. And I don’t get why Cheng is an abusive and selfish asshole. He’s doing this for him AND Cu Nian and he was never abusive nor rude towards anyone (other than that enemies which is obvious).
So you just translate your feelings not thinking story is diferrent. Doing things what Cheng doing is falling below Xu level. We have jails to close these guys who act like Xu, so if smn is doing things what Xu done (including Cheng), this smn had to be close in jail too. Crime is crime.
