Why do they call it citron? Isn't it supposed to be lemon, ore citrus like citrus fruit?

citron is its own fruit, but it's usually shaped more oval and also usually bumpy
but the drawn fruit looks like orange or mandarin or pomelo... so maybe either the author made a mistake or the words were wrong

yuzu gets mistranslated as citrus a lot, and it looks like the picture
it's also a fruit from east asia and used in cooking a lot as a garnish and seasoning

I think they are talking about the Genus- citrus, not a particular Species. but who knows (⌒▽⌒)

citron is its own fruit, and it looked normal to me on the picture, coz that orange looking thing is what we called citron back in my hometown, but maybe in america its called differently, i think its either grape fruit or blood orange, because citron looks like an orange and is red on the inside, and its more sour than an actual orange.

i looked it up on google and it showed a yellow fruit looking thing but that wasn't what we call citron so im guessing its only in america that it has a different name but idk

isn´t it a kind or variety of lemon? I always believed that citron was a variety of stronger, larger but with less pulp lemon(⊙…⊙ )
