Because he doesn't want YeonWoo (a.k.a Woo Pittman) to get hurt by him again,he regretted so much that he'd already free him. He wants YeonWoo's trust and love but he realise already in a long time that YeonWoo hated him by what he did,Keith doesn't think YeonWoo only as a sex partner in the past but that he realise that he Keith himself Love's YeonWoo very much that he would die for him.

In chapter 46- they are gonna do it,Keith cried again in chap. 46 (i think) because i think he said in the novel— "i've bean inlove for (you in) a long time",Keith watered his eyes (cried) as YeonWoo look at him,they embraced each others love's desire as YeonWoo circled Keith's cheek and kissed him.
