Actually, Takashi still devoting his heart to his passed wife and caring for the brother-in-law is much better. Because that was what made the story even more touching and heart-throbbing. Takashi is the best. :D
I like it when Takashi is alone. Although, he is not entirely alone, he has friends and family -> brother-in-law to care for. :P

Well he was too slow he realised that he could possibly have had feelings for the other guy only when the whole jig was revealed to him. So yeah I didn't really like him that much he wasn't much of a looker either
