Mine was junjou romantica the anime too! I don't remember my first yaoi manga though. I do remember that the action was too explicit for a first timer though... (⊙…⊙ ). But Junjou romantica definitely got me hooked on yaoi.
i started with the very vague bl undertones anime when i didn't even know what BL is. it's getbackers. but the actual BL anime i've watched knowing what it is for the first time is yami no matsuei. as for manga, i think it's hard romantica (which nobody probably knows)

I started with Seven Days and Vassalord and I moved on from there :)
My first yaoi was probably sekaiichi hatskoi. Though the way I got into yaoi was a little weird. I was reading genderbender shoujos and when I read those I tend to forget that one was an actual girl with a guy but on paper they both look like guys if they're not in their usual outfits. But I was 18 when I got into yaoi.
i don't think it's weird tho. there was a time i stop reading yaoi but i got back again through gender benders and i've always been obsessed in that genre.
I'm just curious but..l what was your first yaoi manga or anime? My first one was Junjou Romantica the manga and the anime ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ though I don't know if Junjou Romantica is a yaoi or a shounen ai tho... But it's still the best ╮(￣▽￣)╭ oh yeah, also how old where you when you started~?
