im scared to read this.

i just read it. well, rape it is, but is not heart breaking or disgusting as with oder mangas or mangwas. i mean, all rape is disgusting and all but in this is less repulsive. yes, the uke is mistreated, but again, is not painted as a love story. think of it like a less graphic killing stalking. i would totally recomend it, its so good, but if you are more of a romantic flowers and rainbows type, this might not be for you. but in the crying factor, i didnt cry at all. again, its not heart breaking, its good

if i could only recommend one manhwa to people, it would be this one. it’s so beautifully drawn and the plot aspects of it are really well written. one of the characters is constantly mistreated, yes, but that’s going to make his salvation all the more satisfying. it is a work of fiction, though i understand how some scenes could make anyone uncomfy. i do recommend you give it a shot.

Please reconsider. If you are not used to read non con trope --- if you can't get over the fact that you will be reading a story where the MCs get together or the author promotes the ship, this story is not for you.
There are so many people who can't tolerate the non con trope reading this because it's popular or 'for the art' and all they do is to complain about it, shame the readers or only talk about the one thing they knew from start.
It's a classic rape trope: there is a lot of abuse but the pair is set to end together. If you can't dissociate the fiction from real life ( meaning your fiction has to follow what you expect from real life) this story will only frustrates you.
If you can't resist the hype, at least I suggest that you wait until the plot gets to the point of the redemption. These tropes are a known formula and the first part is always the hardest and then they become a couple and the drama become the outsiders trying to split them up. It's slow paced too so we haven't get to the redemption yet.
I just hope that you resist as it doesn't seem to be a good fit for you. I just don't think it's worthy to read something you don't like just because everyone else is reading. There are a lot of people hate reading this just because they followed the hype. It's misery for them and everyone else because they can't find joy on it but can't stop reading it too.
Sorry to be honest. Hope you have the strength to wait a bit at least until the story becomes more palatable and maybe more enjoyable for people who don't normally read non con trope.
