He doesn't give zero fucks about the kids. He just has an Yandere obsession with MC. So while reading the on-going chase of them...he's not searching desperately for his kids just her. He is going to tell her that info later.
This is one of the rare times were I side with FL to keep running. Imagine those babies living in a cut-throat environment with that father.
