jace can find out phil likes him, a bit too much, and jace having to reject him and tell him he likes the duke. phil will resent the king and maybe start some shit. this could've been a cute story of people slowly falling in love. when will we have a good mlm story ugh
Idk why the only form of "drama" in BLs we see nowadays is rape. Its honestly so disappointing when stories that would have been fine forces it in. And not to mention the common trope of "You didn't completely dislike it" like it's so annoying how they are romanticising non con because apparently a person showing a physical reaction equals consent

this story reeks of missed potential. why couldn't we have a good, nice story where the duke and jace slowly fall in love. where misunderstandings lead to conflict but they find a way to reconcile. the misunderstanding of phil & jace being lovers could've been a good conflict. maybe when the duke & jace like eachother,
