I dont understand the story.. Kindly explain again!!????

I think every reader are confuse eith this story

First story: Main Character and the Long Haired Guy were rivals from when they were kids back in ye olden days. Main Character became a ninja but still kept losing, then he got a magic sword. A hit gets put out on Long Haired Guy, MC gets his butt kicked trying to kill uim, ends up near death in the woods. Spirit of the sword comes out, turns him immortal. Present day, MC still trying to kill LHG, spirit is working to support MC, and MC is still getting his butt kicked. Spirit gets hurt when the sword is not properly taken care of.
Also sex because reasons.
