I never meant anything rude by "correcting" you. Again, I'm sorry if I came off rude and I'm also sorry for assuming you made a mistake that needed correction. Mea culpa.

It's actually less about my personal feelings and more about awkward conversations. My writing, speech and attitude can come off as masculine sometimes. So, people will ask questions about being a fundanshi or my gay male relationships and the conversations get kinda awkward if I don't clarify myself right away. I just don't like making others feel awkward or embarrassed. I don't get embarrassed easily myself, but I feel bad if I make others feel that way. So, yeah, that is the real reason I correct people.
