From what I understood is that when Gojo and Getou were fighting Getou managed to put the dream curse on him which entrapped Gojo into his ideal world where he got to graduate and live together with Getou but when he realized he wasn’t a teacher and he didn’t have his students who are now an important part of his real life he realized that everything with Getou was fake/a dream so he wakes his consciousness and faces his past selves who blame themselves for Getou’s death and Gojo tells them that it’s okay bc he has new ppl who are in his life that love him (his students) and he wakes up in Shoko’s office with his students looking over him,, It gets confusing bc in canon Getou with the stitches isn’t the real Getou but in this manga stitches Getou is the same as real Getou so he still feels a connection with Gojo and that’s why he calls him cute and shit I think
