It's also annoying hearing people say it's queerbait. That's not the definition of queerbait at all. Or that it's piggy backing on BL and BL trends to attract people. It's literally marketed as a straight manga. It's not drawing anyone in under false pretenses and the historical genre doesn't belong to anyone (one commenter argued it's unfair cuz there's so few historical BL manga). Like, make your own story if it bothers you so much, people.
im a fujoshi too but these comments are so fucking annoying. we have a shit ton of BL mangas and manhwas. The author wants this to be different, so it will be different. u hoes acting like there's only one way a genre should go are the problem. just stfu and stay in ur lane. if u don't like it, just read the 5000 other BL manhwas out there. there isn't even a yaoi or shounen ai tag here either
