i dont really like jeanette. there is a diff between naive and tactless. blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb. just because someone is blood related to you, u don't have to accept them. i don't like jeanette coz its simply annoying to me that in this time, when athy's dad is sick according to others (and actually is sick), she thinks that if athy liked her she would accept her like a sister immediately. initially I was fine with her and her wanting to join her "true family" coz she lived her whole life feeling like an outsider and living away from anyone she could call family as the whiteys (I forgot their nameΣ( ￣□￣||) ejekiel's family). but now, I just cant stomach her
