What is veggie tales? I was inspired by a hilarious photo someone sent me of a deformed potato ... LOLz
Veggie Tales is a Christian children's cartoon show about devote cucumbers and tomatoes. It would not shock me if there is slash VT fanfic, but the creators would be scandalized.
But for fun: I think Asami is a cucumber and Aki is a sweet potato.
Okay, ummm, Christian veggies - creepy.
I see Asami as lettuce or an onion - many mysterious layers. Aki is more of an artichoke - kind of prickly on the outside, tender within. Souh is a potato - stoic and solid. Kirishima is broccoli - many branches of expertise. Sudoh is a brussel sprout, small and not tasty. For the others I still need to think ...
Really, this is what's come to? Vegetables? You people have waaaay too much free time on your hands, surely there are better ways to fill up your time than pondering what vegetable Asami and Akihito would be.
Lol! Dnt be like that, asami and akihito surely até their share of vegetables that's Why they are so health and full of energy.
All for the fun of it. Not a veggie,(I hope you don't mind) , Durian. It is a fruit that is banned in public in Singapore.It smells so bad,but if you can get pass the smell the banana/vanilla taste is to die for. Reminds me of a certain Chin. dragon. that "smelly outside cover that hides his heart. lol.

I find most vegetables detestable. Now had Hanne said FRUIT, then I would've been on board because I'd compare them all to peppers. It's just a matter of what degree of hotness (Scoville Heat Units, or SHU) you would choose for them.
I'd put Asami at the hottest: Carolina Reaper-- 1,569,383 - 2,000,000 SHU (in comparison, a jalapeño ranges between 2,500 - 10,000 SHU). Few people can handle him... I mean, *them*
Akihito is the pepper paprika comes from, because he sweet and spicy. Since paprika can be made from a variety of different peppers, it ranges from mild to hot at times... which pretty much sums up Akihito
Kirishima is a Red Devil's Tongue... because I like the name. It's also very hot (250,000 - 500,000 SHU)
Suoh is the largest pepper, a NuMex Big Jim, which can grow up to 35 cm (14 in) in length. Mild (2,500 - 3000 SHU) but very tasty ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Fei Long is an ornamental pepper. Small and very pretty on the bush, but deceptively hot. Don't friggin' rub your eyes after touching them. You will regret it ╥﹏╥
Sudou is a green bell pepper which is something I'll eat very grudgingly. 0 Scoville Units :P

Asami my Watermelon man who can resist a cool sweet bite in the hot summer. With that tasting all sweet and sticky yum. Asami Cool in the summer sun.
I'll try to make this with flowers, instead:
Asami: Orchid, because he's mysterious and glamorous.
Akihito: Poppy flower, because he's cheerful and colorful.
Fei Long: Rose, because there's nothing better than a rose in May.
Asami would be red hot chili pepper and Akihito cherry tomato :)
