Honestly I can’t blame the emperor anymore and I don’t think the Empress does either. She still made it clear she dislikes him for his actions he’s taken against her in this timeline but she can’t hold his old timeline’s actions against him now. Honestly all the main cast have terrible pasts but now I feel for the emperor the most. The Empress is going to be his first love. A man who barely loves himself is gonna chase after a woman who hates him. His confidence in his existence is already starting to dwindle and to me he’s always seemed like the suicidal type. This time maybe just to prove how sorry he is to his wife he might die and I feel really sorry for him.
