Y’all really annoying me, dead ass making dumb comments based on one person POV like please pay attention to details and the other characters POV yall sound dumb. Going off on one person is y’all not caring about the other characters reason, and clearly not paying attention to the plot. can’t y’all see how the father clearly thinks of his daughter??? He was trying to protect her from the beginning, at first it seem like he didn’t care about her but when we continued on with the story and the prince pov thoughts of what the father been telling him about his daughter you could tell he truly loves her but can show it for her safety at certain times safety. Like Jesus when he circled the name of the prince in the list it was to get it removed but she went ahead and misunderstood AGAIN thinking he was trying to sale her off to marriage when he really trying to make a list of men to meet the standards that she made. Then also when he gave her the sword and told her to endure it for a bit( MEANING ENDURE BEING LOCKED UP) and meaning to use it( THE SWORD) to protect herself not to kill herself like a fool if he wanted her dead he woulda honestly done it himself and we all know this because he is strong and looks like he would kill anyone on the spot. Y’all see his personality and y’all also see the damn ugly fat big headed ass King so therefore I think the father is being controlled by the king.
