To those who wish for a more in detail summary than what was posted before reading this:

Amaike is a young man who plays piano, but doesn't feel any passion for it nor does he care much beyond just reading the music sheets and playing the notes.
He encounters Tsumugi, a cute, shy girl who likes playing the piano and, in spite of making a few mistakes, captures the very soul of it. She is very comfortable with stuffed toys, but tends to hide or run away due to shyness. So far, I've yet to see her speak.
She has taken a little bit of a liking towards Amaike, but still sometimes gets flustered and shy as with everyone else. So, a little animal type girl.

(Spoiler???)

(The "emotionally wounded" part is a spoiler(?), I'll just say that when he was a young boy, he made a friend through piano, they played duets together. That little boy left him the words, "I don't want to play (the piano) with you anymore, you have no talent!" And they never saw each other after that...)

Even if I say "more detailed" I don't think this summary does the mangs much justice, for me it's just a beautiful story that I cannot fully put in a beautiful summary suitable for it. Still, if this summary has made you want to read this, and you think that somehow it did capture a little bit of the story's proper synopsis, then I'm glad it has done its job.

Honestly, I didn't expect much of this story before, expecting fluffy romance where the girl falls in love quickly and heals the young man's heart, romance and hearts everywhere, where the sadness just gets overwritten by the power of love, but no, the romance, if it'll exist at all, is secondary. And in spite of being a fan of romance (some of them) I actually don't mind if there is little romance, or none at all. I was curious, read it, and it made me want to read more.
