well, it was very insensitive from Andy, and it definitely wasn’t an absurd reason - he was traumatised to say the least, he needed time to learn to trust people again and all that stuff

You can make fun of your own trauma, but no one else is allowed to make the same joke about you. It is disrespectful and insensitive

I get what you are trying to say and what you said was true but doesnt quite apply to what was depicted in this chapter and as much as i dont like this guy he did not make a joke or make fun of the other guys story at all. He listened then gave an unsolicted slightly critical opinion that was absolutely insensitive and completely rude, but there was no mocking of his trauma.
