omg ty i’m so biased when it comes to andy because i relate to him so much and i really love him; i was so shocked by what he said but just labelling him as a bad guy is so one dimensional and in my opinion some people are not making any efforts to understand his character/motivations simply because they care more about the main couple
I agree!! I think a lot of people overlook character analysis in these types of genres, we need to remember that all these characters have complex emotions and while I agree he said was wrong, there is a definite reason as to why he thought that way you just need to look a little bit deeper :) thank you for saying this
YOU WORDED THAT SO WELL! i think a lot of of them are used to characters being flat and aren’t used to seeing complex characters written like this especially in BLs. but this has to be one of the most realistic scenes in a BL i’ve ever seen because it was mature and the emotion was raw. like this scenario could totally happen in real life where someone is being dense and unintentionally rude

some of y’all are lowkey being childish, of course what he said was wrong but there’s a bigger picture y’all are missing. if you don’t like the side couple just drop it until the main couple is back. he didn’t even get to apologize to martin because the other dude dragged him out. there’s an internal struggle he’s also having because he was probably TAUGHT being gay is wrong and is having a hard time coping. no i’m not making excuses for him but making an observation on why he’s acting the way he’s acting. the author clearly wrote it so the story can progress and so we can see the character development
