for the people who don’t understand that the ending might be a red flag or seem “rapey” to some others, it’s the way geon yeong is just kinda bulldozing through everything without regarding wonwoo telling him to stop or to wait. just going into his flat, manhandling him, throwing him on the bed, climbing on top of him and ending it with saying that “he can’t run away now” all the while ignoring literally anything wonwoo is saying; it seems kind of off, esp with the way he’s so stone faced. even with the fact that wonwoo gave consent before it doesn’t mean geon yeong can just do whatever he wants, esp when he’s 1) the one who asked wonwoo to sleep w him and 2) in wonwoo’s home. they’ve never had sex before, it’s not like wonwoo is used to him being like that. it may not necessarily be framed negatively, but that doesn’t mean it can’t come off that way, esp to people who’ve been ragdolled like that before. wonwoo being flustered also doesn’t negate the way geon yeong is behaving.
if you didn’t think it came off that way it’s fine, everyone experiences things differently and no one is telling you you can’t enjoy the manhwa regardless, you’re free to disagree. i know it’s fiction, and that’s also not really interfering with the point i’m trying to make.
