Hello Exo-L you missed a thousand updates, at least a dozen alien invasions, several hundred new manga, and the takeover of the universe by the anime gods. = ) In reality though any updates of your manga should show at the top where the microphone thing is. As long as a manga is tagged as reading or read. If you tag it as want to read it will not let you know when there are updates.

lol in the kpop world it definitely feels like it lately. All of these new boy groups, all the concerts being advertised, new singles being dropped, new albums, comebacks, tv show appearances, v app broadcasts. I don't have enough hours in the day.

So question, let's say I havent tried the k pop thing, and now I feel left out, because I'm like 5 or something, what should I start with, best groups or songs?

It really depends on your tastes. If you like variety try Big Bang because they do different styles in each song. If you like music with great choreography I suggest Bts, Monsta X, Got7, Exo and some of the new debuting groups. If you want smooth sound try Super Junior. Vixx just had a comeback that included a really nice song called Chained Up. The video is lovely and both the dancing and singing are on point. I tend to prefer groups that have an r&b or hip hop sound so I shy away from most girl groups since they tend to be VERY pop cotton candy sweet sounding. 2ne1 is a great female group though if you want to go that route. There are a lot of other groups I like too those are just off the top of my head.

I just glued myself to reading manga so that I can cut time instead of watching the anime.

Tell me what you like and I'll suggest specific groups based on that.

I have so man k-dramas I want to watch but I never do because I know I'll lose weeks of my life and wake up in a daze not knowing what the heck happened.

I watch some of the subbed variety shows on youtube. I hate when all I can find are clips and bemoan that I can't speak or understand Korean.

I know how you feel! If only learning another language is easy as learning to tie your shoe laces..The world would probably be a better place LOL
