So the empire when he was kid he was basically mistreated in the prison and had harsh life. He got so much hatred to the royal people and place and cuz right after his mom dies they just straight torture him on prison oof. Thats why when he grow up he basically killed all of them and got the empire power. Thats why the rumors of him killing anyone being cruel is from that. When he sat on the throne he feels so much emptiness hole on his chest but afterwards when he was walking on the palace he saw the fL and fall in love. In the future chapters scene there is gonna be festival time when they met willl appear it will explain lil bit things there. ig he dont know how affection and love rlly works so missunderstanding and his obsession toward her coming out maybe
