Ric has a curse put on him because he killed a demon and one of the surviving demons was like nah you gotta suffer. Nuah is basically helping with that. Miel is his sister that aristocrats had planned to kill with dogs or something so that she wouldn’t be on the throne I think. And all this time we believed she was dead but now she’s... here? I hope that helps
I actually have no idea whats going on with this story. If someone could summarize whats happened through out this whole book that would be great ... I feel guilty because I mostly just skip to the parts where Nuah and Rix are being adorable babies
