No honestly I felt the same, I nearly cried at the part where he had the gun and the only reason why he didn't pull the trigger was because of his cat, and that makes it even worse because his cat (and maybe the girl he spent time with a bit before) seems like the only thing that's keeping him here and other than that, there is nearly nothing else keeping him from ending his life :[
This manga makes me emotionally confused because I don’t know whether to be happy that Yu is winning the fights or sad he is winning. Every opponent he’s beat so far has noticed that there is actually something wrong with Yu and K is only making it worse. I love that K gave Yu a new life but he is just using Yu for his own personal satisfaction; he is basically human scum. K took in this poor depressed, emotionally constipated child and is slowly turning him into a suicidal monster to satisfy his petty greed and ego. The scene where Yu put a gun to his head made me want to cry , this child is isolated from the world and surrounded by selfish humans who want to use him. Maybe I’m analyzing the manga too deeply but it’s a shame is own friend barely recognizes him now and his portrayed as a devil with red eyes. I hope that as this manga progresses Yu is actually able to show other emotions besides anger, and he get the mental help he needs. BUT most of all I hope K gets his ass beat.
