The latter, maybe. I think being assassinated by his students is the best ending and it's something that was decided since the beginning. Also, the hope that he's together with Aguri again. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I know Korosensei died but... But! Why do I feel like he really didn't die?! Why don't I have a hole in my heart that usually appears whenever a character I like dies?! Drama aside, what's most satisfying with that ending was Karasuma and Irina. We already saw it coming when he offered for her to stay at his place but even so! Bitch-sensei, Yaruuuuu~ (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
