This is a review that i wrote in the past and i am reposting it without making any changes.
I continue to come back to read the comments of the latest chapters and from what i read i feel the need to expreess my feeilngs.
Aristia was beaten, raped, had a miscarriage and her father was killed. All by the same person
The fact it was a different timeline doesnt make it go away. IT DID HAPPEND TO HER. This is a part of her reality.
The excuse that the prince was druged isn't an eligible one. It shows the lack of skills of the author to respond in the story he/she created. And even if the fact that he was under the influence of a drug, is an eligible reason then it is the same as an alcoholic man beating his wife.
AND the people in the comments (intentianally or unintentianally) are trying to normalize this bahavior! NO IT IS NOT NORMAL TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT!
She is given the power to be free of fate and she ends up with her past abuser! it is fiction yes but it is also a story that young people read! A story that gives a VERY negative massage!
The prince has a different personality than the previus timeline and this is because the author made it that way. Any other explaination is not realistic and it is not realisistic that the victim (Aristia) is atracted to the guy who gave her ptsd when she is supposed to not be controled by fate.
Finally i want to talk about her father. He is responsible too. He negleted her until it was too late and the excuse is some sort of a second rated oath to the emperor.
My opinions? Stop reading that story for the good of your soulbeing. It is not worth it. It had great potential but that was it.

Ok sooo I'm not trying to argue or anything buuut i think that comparing ruve getting drugged and a husband getting drunk is different because ruve didn't choose to get drugged, plus with his dad comparing him constantly with tia it's bound that he'd get angry and jealous of her AGAIN NOT TRYNA ARGUE JUST SAYING AL OPINIONS ARE VALID

i do agree that the alcohol = poison analogy is misplaced here like you said but it doesn't erase the fact that it's an absolutely lazy/incompetent way to erase ruve's responsibility of his past misdeeds. Also, jealousy of child aristia isn't an excuse to treat your grown up wife who is dutiful + loves you like garbage
