he didn't betray him he tried toprotect him and in the process got abused by the shit dude but failed and top misunderstood as betrayal and then abandoned blond guy with suffering so now blond guy want revenge (that's what i understood might be wrong)

Not just that lol. The blonde basically killed the entire village of Chi hwan's family becuase he wanted to keep their relationship a secret. That was the main reason why Chi hwan was so hurt and angry. Its fucked up.. He killed innocent kids... who would have never betrayed his trust in the first place
