This is the most well thought opinion on the series I've read under the comment's section in a hot minute. Definitely agree that Duna was a mess before Wookyung or Minho got into the picture. At 19/20 or when she got into college, perfectly respectable age to know the importance of consent. Wookyung didn't teach her "wrongly" as much as she herself dismissed the importance of consent, aftercare, cues etc. Even now, as a 28 year old woman, that's too old to have to "learn" to respect your partner's whether they be sexual or romantic. They'll justify anything when it comes to her. As if being a good fucking person is not a personal responsibility over something that people should give you a reasons to be. Also your comment isn't caustic lol.
Basically sums it up. Thanks for being reasonable, unlike some other commentators on here.

Ngl all of the victim blaming in this comments section is kind of a yikes. Not to imply that Minho is some kind of perfect angel, when he’s shown himself to be a self-loathing, codependent bastard boy—but going through the older comments where there were people actively rooting for/trying to justify his rape has me feeling kinda :/
I understand that the author frequently has him forgetting how to act just so that the “payoff” of seeing him defeated and degraded becomes more rewarding, but like.....he’s not some kind of monster or devious villain. He’s just a pathetic dude. He and Duna were both adults when they met?? It’s not like him having penis angst all the time in college *made* her into a rapist. It’s clear that the seedling was always there, even back when Wookyung and her were discussing how the absence of consent basically makes the whole thing spicier. It’s just nonsense to me, hearing people act like she was a perfectly normal girl until big bad boys Minho and Wookyung made her into a freak.
And not to mention people acting like Haesol is just the most stable little cinnamon roll who did nothing wrong ever </333. The dude is highkey obsessive and keeps trying to maintain this unhealthy power dynamic between him and Duna. He isn’t overtly malicious, but I hardly ever see anybody talking about how detrimental his deification of Duna is to him. Obviously their relationship isn’t as dysfunctional as Duna and Minho’s, but Haesol’s behavior in the past and even now is incredibly uncomfortable to see. Especially as someone who’s been in his place and been as desperate as he’s been, I can safely say that it’s unhealthy.
Tldr: basically fuck everybody in this series. But you can’t just make out anybody to be the paragon of the story when everybody is just so fucked up. Except for Gyerin. Best girl right there.
