I love Ubukata! You really don't see a girl character who actually scolds a guy for a good reason.

Are you trying to say that it's unusual to see a girl in a manga scold a guy righteously, or it's unusual to see a girl in a manga scold a guy without much reason?

Not unusual, more like rare :) since I have seen girl characters similar to her in other manga. I loved how she knew that he most likely put the blame on himself that the team lost and that he had to let it all out and cry. Also it was really sweet that she actually let him rest on her shoulder. So to me she scolded him with good reason. She did it in a loving way knowing that he need to cry or he would have kept it all inside. Does that make sense? I'm actually awful at explaining things.lol never thought someone would ask what I meant.

I understand, the way she scolded him, in order to break him from his internal pain, was very realistic representation of real love. I suppose that's why the moment becomes really touching.
Thank you for answering my question, and by means of an explanation: I am a bit of an odd duck.
