Are there missing pages or is the mangaka bad at doing transitions?

I think when it changed to vol.2 there were chapter missing

yes they are missing page
I have the original in french and at the end you as well see Nicol end Jed all grown up and some more detail

As well strangely in french the story is slightly different especially at the end :O
