I read the novel and they remarried. ML saved him from trauma before and he was brainwashed by Shen Luoan that's why he was acting like that. His family didn't say anything about him being fooled. They didn't inform him so he doesn't have any clue. What he did is pure sht tho but I think both parties are wrong. He loves niannian but he thought it was wrong to do so since Luoan is the one who "saved" him and technically, he owes Luoan his life. I don't wanna spoil anymore but the both of them received treatment.
The dude is never going to be redeemable, like legit cheating is another thing but constantly abusing someone is on a whole new level, I could'nt even read this shit cause I got so angry pst chapter 20 literally skimming through.
I swear if they make the ML and MC get back together its so unrealistic unless they reaply detail explain the recovery process with the relationship, I also belivev ML suffer from anger issue and MC is just so brainwash into thinking ML is like this god and just to dependant on him.
