Well the protagonists never have a relationship bc the feelings arent reciprocated. One of them uses the others lesbianism and the fact that she is in love with her against her and insulta her about it. Also the brother of the one that is a lesbian is pretty homophobic and nasty about it. But there is just so much good dialogue about being a lesbian, and feeling misunderstood and scared that makes it a worth the ugly stuff. But it isnt an easy read, it just reminds you that being a woman in this world is shit. All in all it made me cry a lot and it's one of my favourite mangas

too bad a bunch of reviews said the film adaptation was so bad and the script was lesphobic. but if its a film adaptation of this manga, then does that go for this manga too?
